HELLO ALL!
wow! what a crazy week it has been-- jarron was able to stay in the hotel with my parents last night!
he said that he woke up around 2am with a severe headache... took some medicine and was able to go back to sleep.
he is still having difficulty with sudden movements, his neck is really sore, his jaw is hurting pretty badly (so eating is difficult) but he is so glad to be out of the hospital!
he was getting ready to head over to his dorm to take a shower and get some clean clothes to take back to the hotel. dad is working on getting all of his assignments from school and how to best keep him current with his classes.
mom and dad are starting to sound tired and worn out-- i think they've been going on adrenaline for a while now and are feeling the effects. they've done some sight-seeing and love the city... however, i think they are ready to be home.
kelsey is flying out sat. morning and staying through wed. morning-- keep her in your thoughts and prayers for a safe flight.
kelsey and i decided that it was best to tell jarron about "buck for a bike" today-- instead of him finding out when he got online-- and he is very much humbled by all the outpouring of love and support. (we reminded him that God gave him two sisters... with two big mouths... and constant internet connection) i don't think that he understands how much and how many people know about him and his accident... but he will be SHOCKED to say the least! he was thrilled to hear that his bike will be replaced and that his old one can be hung on the wall for retirement!
thanks so much, for all that everyone has and is doing. this is far from over, and he is far from being "okay", but we know that God has a much bigger plan for jarron and that God has been with our family through this entire saga-- He has given us more love and support than we know what to do with-- thanks again- from the entire Lisle, Higginbotham, Battel clan-- we love you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
